About Me

I'm Nyla, a product designer who loves untangling complex, high-stakes systems and turning them into something people can navigate with confidence. Most of my work lives in fintech and, more recently, health: trust-heavy, decision-driven experiences that reach millions of customers.

These days that looks like setting strategy, prioritization, and direction, and mentoring designers, but I'm just as often heads-down executing my own projects and staying in the weeds. I'd love to keep growing this way, whether that's leading through influence for now or a team down the line. I'm especially drawn to opportunities where design can make hard moments, financial or medical, feel a little more human.

Outside of work, I enjoy attending design, networking, and community events and connecting with junior designers to offer guidance. I'm also a certified Lagree instructor and love taking classes, staying active, and finding any excuse to be creative — from interior design to event planning.
